Selfgrid was built as a personal brand site for a creative professional looking to convey both personality and expertise. The goal wasn’t just to show work, but to articulate thought process, values, and evolution. The site needed to feel personal, yet polished enough to serve as a portfolio, blog, and digital calling card all at once.
Our Approach
We chose a clean, grid-based layout that adapts to content and screen size. A dark mode foundation gave the site a modern edge while allowing work samples and type to pop. Thoughtful microinteractions, from hover states to smooth page transitions, reinforced the idea that design isn’t just visual — it’s emotional. We also prioritized fast loading and clarity across sections like bio, contact, and case studies.
